Momentalne sa nachadzaju v Pennsylvanii, kde bojuju o podporu a ziskanie volicov na ich stranu. Obaja musia mat silnu a kvalitnu kampan, aby presvedcili ludi, ze on ci ona je ten najlepsi uchadzac na tento prezidentsky post. Ich taktiky a strategie ako sa k tomu dopracovat su velmi prospesne a kandidatovo vitazstvo na nich zavisi. Primarne volby v Pennsylvanii su tymi najdolezitejsimi, lebo je to dost velky stat. To sum up, Obama is still leading with 1,719 delegates, Clinton is little bit slower with 1,591 votes. Pensylvánske primárne voľby vrcholia. Kandidáti chcú získať priazeň verejnosti. Vznikla napätejšia atmosféra medzi dvomi vedúcimi demokratickými kandidátmi: Barackom Obamom a Hillary Rodham Clintonovou, bývalou prvou dámou. Navzájom sa obvinili z udržiavania záväzkou podporujúcich osobitné záujmy a obaja to poreli. Barack Obama nezaostáva v hovorení výrokov. Vyjadril sa na adresu republikánskeho nominanta, Johna McCaina, že by bol lepší ako hociktorý z demokratov. A on sám, Hilary Clinton a JohnMcCain by dohromady boli lepší ako Gerge Bush. Clintonová povedala, že potrebujú kandidáta, ktorý nebude povzbudzovať McCaina. John McCain kritizoval svojich demokratických oponentov kvôli obhajobe vyšších daní. Ale kritizoval viacej Baracka Obamu ako Hillary Clintonovú. Domnievam sa preto, že má väčšiu šancu vyhrať voľby ako Clintonová. Kritizoval aj jeho priateľstvo s radikálom Williamom Ayersom. Povedal, že to je “otvorená otázka” na televíznej stanici ABC. Ayers, teraz vzdelávací profesor, povedal, že neľutuje, že hádzal bomby pre desaťročiami. Dva dni pred voľbami v Pensylvánii, Obama a Clintonová sledovali rituály nedeľnej kampane. A obvinili sa navzájom. Clintonová povedala, že Obama prijal peniaze od lobistov. On to odmietol a povedal, že to vôbec nie je pravda. Obama má lepšiu pozíciu medzi zástupcami primárnych volieb, zatiaľčo Clintonová medzi superdelegátmi. Viacej ako 300 superdelegátov sa zatiaľ nerozhodlo, koho budú podporovať. Povedali, že chcú kandidáta, ktorý dobyje Biely dom a budú uvažovať o kandidátovi s najväčším množstvom delegátov v primárnych voľbách alebo o takom, ktorý vyhral v ich štáte alebo kongresovom obvode. Zatiaľ je to Obama, kto vyhráva. Clintonovej podporovatelia uznali, že musí vyhrať pensylvánske primárne voľby a že potrebuje obrovské víťazstvo, aby dohonila Obamu. Clintonová sa vyjadrila, že Obama hovorí jednu vec a jeho kampaň je o niečom inom a ponúkla riešenia problémov pre Ameriku. Obama povedal, že si nemyslí, že lobisti sú súčasťou systému, ale že sú súčasťou problému. Odmietol, že bral peniaze od federálnych lobistov a vyhrešil Clintonovú za to, že to povedala. Obama sa jasne vyjadril, že nebral žiadne peniaze a nikto nemôže o tom pochybovať. Takže, môžeme vidieť, že pensylvánske primárne voľby vrcholia a môžeme čakať na víťaza. A big battle taking place on American continent is still more than actual. Two biggest rivals, senator of Illinois Barack Obama and a senator of New York Hillary Rodham Clinton are still in a fight for a chance to become a new president of the most mighty country in the world, United States of America. Both of the candidates are now trying to receive the biggest possible number of votes to get a possibility to candidate for a post of USA president. A condition determining a chance to clinch the nomination is to have at least a number of 2,026 out of the all 3,253 pledged delegates available. At the fist sight it could seem, that a victory of Obama' candidacy can not be endangered by almost anything, but the truth is, that in spite of the fact Obama is in a lead and is in a relative satisfactory advance of his rival, Hillary Clinton, he is still short of delegates and needs to capture endorsements from another one hundred. Obama hopes to get missing votes from superdelegates. As he has said few days ago, he does not see any reason, why superdelegates should not support the candidate, who had already been chosen by the majority of people. Just on Monday, Obama was given another six endorsements, while his opponent Hillary Clinton did not pick up any. It seems, that everything goes according to Obama's victory plan, but as Obama campaign manager David Plouffe said, there is a need to be careful, because Senator McCain together with president Bush had already begun preparing their attacks on Obama.

Na prvý pohľad sa môže zdať, že víťazstvo Obamu už nemôže byť takmer ničím ohrozené, ale pravdou je, že aj napriek faktu, že je Obama vo vedení a má pomerne uspokojujúci náskok pred svojím súperom Hillary Clinton-ovou, stále nemá dostatok delegátov a potrebuje získať schválenie od ďalších sto. Obama dúfa, že chýbajúce hlasy získa od superdelegátov. Pred pár dňami sa vyjadril, že nevidí žiaden dôvod, prečo by superdelegáti nemali podporiť kandidáta, ktorý bol aj tak už vybraný väčšinou hlasujúcich občanov. Len v pondelok Obama získal ďalších 6 schválení, zatiaľ čo jeho súperka neobdržala žiadne. Zdá sa, že všetko sa zatiaľ vyvýja v prospech Obamovho víťazného plánu, avšak ako hovorí manažér jeho kampane David Plouffe, stále je treba byť veľmi opatrný, pretože senátor McCain spolu so súčasným prezidentom Bushom už začali pripravovať protiútok.

On Tuesday Sen. Edward Kennedy was found out to suffer from a tumor on his brain. Unfortunately, the tumor was diagnosed as a cancerous one. This is probably the most cruel ending of his entire life throughout which he managed to achieve glorious goals and triumphs. The experts diagnosed him with a malignant glioma just after the seizure he experienced over the last weekend. They precisely described that the tumor is in his left parietal lobe, which is known to be the center of the movement coordination, language ability and sensation. This type of a brain tumor is the worst of all as it is considered to be the lethal one. Dr. Suriya Jeyapalan, a neuroncologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, tells that this disease is treatable but not curable. He then explained that it was possible to ease it up for some time, but it was unrealistic to cure it completely. Kennedy is known for his unbelievable stamina to fight even the most difficult and challenging fights. Many people appreciate his big heart. Sen. The race between two Democrat presidential candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton is gradually getting to the home stretch. And although it is obvious that Senator for Illinois Barack Obama is ahead of Clinton in the race she insists that the end of this marathon for the party's nomination is far from over and keeps fighting. These days the two candidates have been focused on the primary voters in Kentucky and Oregon. And it seems Senator Obama is pretty sure he gets the majority of elected delegates. According to the latest polls the former first lady is about to win in Kentucky and her rival will probably celebrate his success in Oregon. “This is nowhere near over,” said New York Senator Clinton and thus giving a clear message to all those who called for her to quit the race. Whoever wins the nomination of the Democratic party is going to face Republican John McCain in general election. In general, experts think that at this point it is rather certain that Obama is to become the first African-American presidential nominee in history. And only some fatal error could stop him which is highly improbable. In Kentucky polls will stay open till 7 p.m. EDT and voting in Oregon will end at 8 p.m. EDT. Obama's campaign manager David Pouff said that once the votes are counted in Kentucky and Oregon he will most probably secure the majority of pledged delegates. According to Obama's campaign he needs only 16 more pledged delegates to have this majority. Of course Clinton does not like such talks and she strongly disagrees with them. She says there are still voters in Puerto Rico, Montana and South Dakota that might change the course of things. “Declaring mission accomplished does not make it so,” stated Clinton's communications director Howard Wolfson.

V týchto dňoch sa obaja kandidáti sústredili na voličov v štátoch Kentucky a Oregon. A zdá sa, že senátor Obama si je vcelku istý tým, že získa väčšinu vybraných voliteľov. Podľa posledného sčítania hlasov je pravdepodobné, že v Kentucky zvíťazí bývalá prvá dáma, zatiaľčo v Oregone by to mal byť jej súper Obama. “Ešte ani zďaleka nie je koniec,” povedala senátorka za štát New York Clintonová a dala tak jasne najavo svoj postoj všetkým tým, ktorí ju nabádali aby odstúpila z volieb. Ktokoľvek sa už stane hlavným kandidátom Demokratickej strany bude vo všeobecných voľbách čeliť republikánovi Johnovi McCainovi. Vo všeobecnosti sú experti presvedčení o tom, že v tomto momente je takmer isté, že Barack Obama sa stane prvým afroamerickým prezidentským kandidátom v histórii. Zastaviť by ho mohla jedine veľmi vážny prešľap, čo je vysoko nepravdepodobné. V Kentucky majú ľudia možnosť voliť do siedmej večer severoamerického východného času, Oregone budú voľby ukončené o ôsmej večer. Manažér Obamovej volebnej kampaňe David Pouff povedal, že keď budú zrátané všetky hlasy v Oregone i kentucky Obama bude mať s najväčšou pravdepodobnosťou zaistenú väčšinu vybraných voliteľov. Obamova kampaň vyhlasuje, že k dosiahnutiu tejto väčšiny mu chýba už len 16 voliteľov. Takéto reči sa samozrejme nepáčia Hillary Clintonovej, ktorá vyjadrila silný nesúhlas. Hovorí, že ešte sú tu voliči z Portorika, Montany a Južnej Dakoty, ktorí môžu celé dianie zmeniť. “Len výroky nestačia na to, aby človek naozaj dosiahol víťazstvo,” vyjadril sa Clintonovej manažér pre styk s verejnosťou Howard Wolfson.

f I ask you, what is the most actual and important thing taking place in the American continent at this moment, I am quite sure, that overwhelming majority of you would answer, that it is elections and an merciless fight for a chance to candidate for the post of the USA president. Two main rivals from Democratic floor, senator of Illinois Barack Obama and senator of New York Hillary Rodham Clinton are now fighting against each other to achieve as many endorsements as possible. To get a chance to candidate directly for the post of president they have to fulfill given condition to have at least 2,026 delegates. In this criteria is Barack Obama slightly in lead as he is only 64 delegates short of the overall number needed. He was relatively successful in few recent states and now he is trying to focus his attention to crucial campaign in Florida, which is planned to be held in November. He has still on mind his Republicans' rival, senior senator of Arizona John McCain, and recently he has drew attention of a public by a very interesting notice. He said, that he does not understand how people can still trust him, because the fact is, that he absolutely does not follow his own words and principles. Reputedly, about ten years ago, he was the person who suggested that registered lobbyists should be barred from working for candidates' campaigns and these days it is also him who hired some of the best lobbyist to run his campaign. This is more than an interesting fact, and McCain should be careful not to loose faith of his supporters exactly because of this mistake.

V plnení tohto kritéria je zatiaľ zľahka vo vedení Barack Obama, ktorému do úplneho splnenia chýba už len 64 delegátov. Bol pomerne úspešný v posledných štátoch a teraz sa snaží sústrediť svoju pozornosť na kľúčovú volebnú kampaň vo Floride, ktorá sa bude konať v Novembri tohto roka. Stále má však na pamäti svojho republikánskeho oponenta, senátora Arizony, Johna McCaina a posledne zaujal pozornosť verejnosti zaujímavým vyhlásením. Povedal, že nerozumie, ako môžu voliči McCainovi stále dôverovať, keďže sa on absolutne nestotožňuje so svojimi vlastnými slovami a princípmi. Približne pred desiatimi rokmi bol práve on tá osoba, ktorá navrhla, aby mali registrovaní lobysti zákaz pracovať na kampaniach kandidátov, no a v súčasnosti je to taktiež on, kto si pre svoju kampaň najal tých najväčších a najlepších spomedzi všetkých. A len na zdôraznenie, nie je fakt, že už obaja uvažujú nad tým, koho si zvoliť za svojho viceprezidenta, trošku naznačujúcim signálom? Nejde tu nepatrné poukázanie na to, aký by mohol byť konečný výsledok tohto demokratického boja o nomináciu?McCain sa už tento víkend bude rozhodovať, koho z možných troch kandidátov si zvoliť. Na druhej strane, Obamov tím je zatiaľ len vo fáze nahromaďovania informácií, kto by mohol byť pravdepodobným viceprezidentom. Sú tu však isté druhy špekulácie, že možní kandidáti pre Obamu by mohli byť tí istí ako pre predchádzajúceho prezidenta Johna Kerryho. In Terre Haute, einer Mittelschule in Indiana erklärte er seine Zerstreutheit über die Ungleichheit, die sich in der Ökonomie wiederspiegelt. Obama zufolge wären alle Rahmen der Toleranz und Geduld der Bevölkerung überschritten. Sie hätten einfach kein Vertrauen mehr zu Washington hieß es. Aus Verzweiflung würden sie sich jetzt nur mehr an neue Werte wie das Erlaben homosexueller Ehen und des Waffenschutzes klammern, die eine große Veränderung versprechen. Pensylvánske primárne voľby vrcholia. Kandidáti chcú získať priazeň verejnosti. Vznikla napätejšia atmosféra medzi dvomi vedúcimi demokratickými kandidátmi: Barackom Obamom a Hillary Rodham Clintonovou, bývalou prvou dámou. Navzájom sa obvinili z udržiavania záväzkou podporujúcich osobitné záujmy a obaja to poreli. Barack Obama nezaostáva v hovorení výrokov. Vyjadril sa na adresu republikánskeho nominanta, Johna McCaina, že by bol lepší ako hociktorý z demokratov. A on sám, Hilary Clinton a JohnMcCain by dohromady boli lepší ako Gerge Bush. Clintonová povedala, že potrebujú kandidáta, ktorý nebude povzbudzovať McCaina. John McCain kritizoval svojich demokratických oponentov kvôli obhajobe vyšších daní. Ale kritizoval viacej Baracka Obamu ako Hillary Clintonovú. Domnievam sa preto, že má väčšiu šancu vyhrať voľby ako Clintonová. Kritizoval aj jeho priateľstvo s radikálom Williamom Ayersom. Povedal, že to je “otvorená otázka” na televíznej stanici ABC. Ayers, teraz vzdelávací profesor, povedal, že neľutuje, že hádzal bomby pre desaťročiami. Dva dni pred voľbami v Pensylvánii, Obama a Clintonová sledovali rituály nedeľnej kampane. A obvinili sa navzájom. Clintonová povedala, že Obama prijal peniaze od lobistov. On to odmietol a povedal, že to vôbec nie je pravda. Obama má lepšiu pozíciu medzi zástupcami primárnych volieb, zatiaľčo Clintonová medzi superdelegátmi. Viacej ako 300 superdelegátov sa zatiaľ nerozhodlo, koho budú podporovať. Povedali, že chcú kandidáta, ktorý dobyje Biely dom a budú uvažovať o kandidátovi s najväčším množstvom delegátov v primárnych voľbách alebo o takom, ktorý vyhral v ich štáte alebo kongresovom obvode. Zatiaľ je to Obama, kto vyhráva. Clintonovej podporovatelia uznali, že musí vyhrať pensylvánske primárne voľby a že potrebuje obrovské víťazstvo, aby dohonila Obamu. Clintonová sa vyjadrila, že Obama hovorí jednu vec a jeho kampaň je o niečom inom a ponúkla riešenia problémov pre Ameriku. Obama povedal, že si nemyslí, že lobisti sú súčasťou systému, ale že sú súčasťou problému. Odmietol, že bral peniaze od federálnych lobistov a vyhrešil Clintonovú za to, že to povedala. Obama sa jasne vyjadril, že nebral žiadne peniaze a nikto nemôže o tom pochybovať. Takže, môžeme vidieť, že pensylvánske primárne voľby vrcholia a môžeme čakať na víťaza. Bude to Clintonová alebo Obama?

Democrats start to worry that the long time running fight of nominations may decrease the chance of the party to win. Barack Obama and Hillary Clintom do not agree. Superdelegates are required to support a candidate who will win the primary contests. The question also is if delegates of Clinton from Florida and Michigan primaries will be able to participate in the convention vote. The most importatnt thing for Democrats is not to lose the general election. The Party of Democrats should not take any "decisions in the backroom" by the party elite. The Democratic Party punish delegates from Florida and Michigan because they were holding their votes before the date Feb. 5. It was announced by Nancy Pelosi, the House Speaker of the Democratic National Convention. But it should not be a big deal. Delegates of these states should not decite about the nominee. A candidate needs to have 2.025 delegates to win the democratic nomination. Barack Obama, a senator from Illinois, has 1.037 delegates. Hillary Clinton, wife of previous president of the U. S., has 953 Democratic National Convention democrates. These numbers came from an unofficial tally thegreenpapers.com. It is a nonpartisan Web site which is in charge of summary of election statistic. Almost 800 superdelegates are not counted. Clinton seems to lose her delegates. One of them Jonh Lewis, Georgia Congressman, who previously supported her wants to give his vote to Obama. And he is not alone. Now Obama is about 1 percent over Clinton in delegate count. Many of superdelegates are ready to support a person who will win the higher number of votes in primaries.

Series of victories that brought her a status of the most popular woman in America favoured her in the eyes of the public nor her party.Rise and fall of Hillary Clinton can be linked with her super self confidency, that promped her as the most suitable candidate for the White House.In fact, she already had started her campaign, stepping one feet in the president's house.She poured her energy to the general election nor the party wining nomination.The slower you go, the further you get. And Obama did so. One by one, he has been gaining superdelegates on his side and now really faces the final nomination.Although there has been voices calling for Clinton's withdrawal, she carries on the race. Courageous enough. Well, there's still 6 more contests to challenge.

Na tom zápandom fronte to vyzerá naozaj veľmi horúco, iste by povedal môj starý otec, keby ešte žil. Okrem katastrofickej situácie stúpajúcej ropy, ktorá začína dvíhať ceny benzínu aj u nás, inflácie sa Amerika zmieta v kontroverznej prezidentskej kampani.A to právom, veď je tu celý rad nevyriešených (negatívnych) problémov ticho plaziacich sa za kandidátmi, z ktorých sa už vyše roka kampane stali symboly, bábky, predmety vášnivých diskusií kritík. Vyzerá to tak, akoby Amerika svoju potlačované emócie vkladala to kritiky a takmer nekritického sústredenia sa na voľbu hlavy štátu.Snažiac sa zaujať objektívny postoj pri písaní tohto článku, musím predsa len vyjadriť obdiv až nadľudskej vytrvalosti a vôli vydržať extrémne mesiace napätej kampane. Pondelkové primárky v Indiane a Severnej Karolíne dopadli lepšie pre illinoiského senátora Barracka Obamu, ktorý si na svoje konto pripísal daľších 4 superdelegátov. A sú to práve oni, kto rozhoduje o straníckej nominácií. Zdá sa, že toto je aspekt, ktorý Hillary Clintonová podcenila.Zdá sa, že demokratickým kandidátom v novembrových voľbách bude nakoniec Obama.Pokiaľ ide o arizonského senátora Johna McCaina, je nutné priznať, že jeho mediálna podpora nie je zďaleka taká rozsiahla ako v prípade demokratických konkurentov.Pravdou je, že o jeho 'nemastnej neslanej' kampani nebolo už dávno počuť.A navyše musí čeliť neľutostnej kritike bývalého republikánskeho kongresmana Boba Barra.Barr, ktorý je v súčastnosti uprostred vlastnej kampane, ktorá by mu (paradoxne) mala priniesť miesto predsedu strany Liberálov sa vo verejnom televíznom vysielaní vyjadril, že v súčasnosti sa na horizonte neobjavuje žiaden kandidát, ktorý by dostatočne chápal význam konzervativizmu a základných pilierov americkej spoločnosti. McCaina kritizoval za nedostatok oduševnenia, vízie, agendy, a balíkov programov pre ľudí. Poukázal tiež, že ak v novembri McCain prehrá, bude to pravdepodobne pre tieto dôvody.Na druhej strane, pokračujúcu kampaň vedúceho Obamu sprevádza značný emocionálny nátlak.Média po celom svete pokračujú v diskusii, či tento nepochybne nadmieru inteligentný kandidát dokáže vo finálnom novembrovom zúčtovaní uspieť proti skupine bielych pracujúcich voličov.Nálepku 'elitár' dostal Obama potom, čo sa jeho kampaň značne dištancovala práve od tejto, ťažko ovplyvniteľnej triedy. Zdá sa, že rasová otázka v Amerike stále zohráva dôležitú úlohu.Možno práve preto nedokázal vyhrať primárky v žiadnom z väčších štátov. Ale ak by to on nedokázal, bola by toho schopná ona?Hilary Clintonová začala svoju kampaň s imidžom najostrieľanejšieho a najstabilnejšieho kandidáta s dobrým vystupovaním. A dostala sa skutočne ďaleko. Séria víťazstiev jej vyniesla status najobľúbenejšej ženy v Amerike. Avšak popularita v očiach verejnosti sa zákonite nerovná popularite v radoch tých, ktorí verejnosť zastupujú.Vzostup a pán Hillary Clintonovej môže byť (potenciálne) spätý s jej nadmerným sebavedomím a s odvážnymi vyhláseniami o tom, že je najvhodnešou kandidátkou pre Biely Dom.Faktom je, že svoju kampaň začala a vždy riadila jednou nohou z Bieleho Domu. Hillary Clintonová zamerala svoju energiu na svoje celkové víťazstvo, nie na víťazstvo vrámci strany.Pomaly ďalej zájdeš, vraví sa medzi ľuďmi po celé stáročia. Zdá sa, že senátor Obama pamätal na tieto slová, keď si na svoje konto postupne jeden za druhým pripisoval delegátske a superdelegátske hlasy. Dnes naozaj čelí straníckej nominácii.Hoci sa po pondelku začali ozývať hlasy aby sa Clintonová vzdala svojej kampane a odstúpila, táto naozaj prvá dáma Ameriky sa verejne zaprisahala pokračovať až dokonca. A hoci média nepredpokladajú, že by dokázala zvrátiť stav na svoju stranu, v hre stále ostáva 6 volebných výziev a nikto naozaj nevie, čo všetko sa ešte môže stať.

Obama starts his presidential campaign although the match with Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has not come to an end. It is true that he attracted most of the superdelagates, but is that enough to see himself as a winner? After his showdown in Missouri on Tuesday, Obama clearly showed he is more than sure of the winning of the Democratic presidential nomination, therefore next is campaigning against Republican Senator John McCain. Even if Clinton wins in West Virginia and in Kentucky next week, she still has few chances to beat Obama due to the fact that every day new superdelagates (officials of the Democratic Party who can back up whom ever they want) are turning to him. It is no surprise that he did not campaign a lot in West Virginia, nor will it be if he refuses to talk about the primary results. The last meeting face to face between the two Democratic rivals captured the tension persisting in spite of the hand shook and the short conversation. expected to lose to Clinton, he was campaigning in Missouri, a battleground between the two parties in recent elections. He held an economic town hall event at a clothing manufacturing plant in Cape Girardeau County, home to many working-class voters. Obama lost the county to Clinton in the Feb. 5 primary, even though he narrowly carried the state. Being sure that he will win, what will Obama do next? He will focus on how to get Clinton’s supporters on his side and convince Republican supporters to vote for him. In order to complete the first task he will have to seduce the white, blue-collar workers and convince him to not abandon the party if Clinton loses. Meantime, he is linking the controversial Bush administration to McCain, thus stressing the economy issues and the Iraq war. He will materialize his strategy of extending from the usual 15 competitive states and target also those that are considered as being mostly Republican like Virginia, North Carolina, wanting to prove that there are no more political differences, but an entire country wanting a new policy at the White House. Nevertheless, Clinton has not signaled any intention of retiring from the competition. It would benefit both of them to get to a mutual understanding for the sake of their party and for a stronger competition against McCain. Are they mature enough to see that?
