Mac Is Back
by Kamila Moravcikova

Well, we all know that year 2008 is really important year in United States as it's a year of elections. But it's not only American affair. Because of a huge impact of United States (including economic, military and other issues) the whole world is concerned. Who will be the one? Who will be enjoying the "one of the most important and powerful person in the world" status? And as a Non American I'm interested in another question. Can we look forward to having first Afro-American president ever or to having first woman president ever? The thing is, outside US, the attention is mainly paid to two candidates of Democratic party. Honestly, I am much more familiar with Hillary's thrilling struggle to save her marriage and Barack's sprightly youth involving drugs. But what about Reps? John? Mitt? Mike? I'm sorry and I feel ashamed for my ignorance. Usually, these guys running for president are just a "what Hillary said and Barack declared" footnote. It's pity, because for example John McCain is quite interesting person that was nicknamed "Punk" and "McNasty" while being a hight school student. Moreover, being a Vietnam War veteran who survived imprisonment shows that he is apparently strong enough and fit into dangerous and unstable political environment. He is just little too old (if he was inaugurated, he would be the second oldest president). At least, he seems to have a sense of humor. Or how could you explain that he often calls himself being "older that dirt" or having "more scars that Frankenstein"?Actually, being unknown outside US is nothing to worry about as the ones who are voting and making decisions are only Americans.

Super Bowl- Obama's place to present himself
by Sandra Stoklaskova

As everyone knows, US elections are going to its finish. People have experienced different public outcries also in this year's presidential elections, such as resignations or mutual blaming, which are almost regularly parts of this important event. Now, in play are still 4 candidates who would like to win White House bid, but real chances have only two of them. Two Republicans McCain and Romney are tailing away Democratic candidates. Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton are heading into Tuesday's nomination contests. Because they are equal rivals, they have to carefully think about next steps of their campaign.Last news say, that Obama is preparing an ad, which will be run during the Super Bowl. This is very tactical strategy, as Super Bowl is the most spotted show, transmitted in America. More than 90 million viewers are expected to watch the match between New York Giants and New England Patriots. This ad is considered to be a summary of Obama's political message. He is against images of crowds of supporters, war in Iraq and Hurricane Katrina's destruction."We want an end to this war and we want diplomacy and peace," said Obama in his speech in Austin, Texas. He added: "Not only can we save the environment, we can create jobs and opportunity. We're tired of fear; we're tired of division. We want something new. We want to turn the page. The world as it is is not the world as it has to be."Obama's aim was not to attract all the bigger markets in key states, that is why his overall ads costen only approximately $250,000.

Tight race in presidential primaries
by Tatiana Hadarova

The Super Tuesday is approaching and two candiates from Democratic party Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama sparred over main issues like Social Security, healthcare and electability. Both are now appealing to undecided voters to make up their minds. Every presidential candidate, from the democrats' side and also from republican's side are now monitoring polls, which are showing that race is more and more tight.Clinton has been long expected to win in California and she also did, but according to polls, she won only slighlty over Obama. In republican race the obvious leader is McCain and he has been expected to knock out his main rivals Romney and Huckabee. McCain said, that he will try to win over other Republicans by promising to appoint two judges in the mold of Supreme Court. But Romney also has his own weapons. He argues against McCain with McCain's campaign finance law, immigration bill and energy cap-and-trade bill. Romney also compares his solutions on major country issues to those of Clinton and Obama. Huckabee , who is now taking the third place in presidential race said, that it was time for Romney to drop out instead of him. But Huckabee is not giving up and hopes to be meet McCain in "two-man" race.In the Democratic race both candidates are accusing each other by distributing misleading mailers. Clinton has to explain her healthcare proposal, in which she plan the automatical enrollment of anyone, if they are at he place of employment. Obama argues with fact, that what if everyone could afford to buy for insurance, but Clinton refuse to answer that.Obama was hit back by the Clinton campaign claim that he plans to raise taxes by trillion dollars, what is nearly a third of size of the federal budget. Obama denied it and in his speech on CBS claimed that he still thinks Republicans and independents would support him, arguing with the issue of electability.

Various TV plans for Super Tuesday
by Zuzana Moravcova

In New York, the Super Tuesday for the presidential primaries is nearing. For television and media, it is going to mean an unexpected profit. All three broadcast networks have set an hour for a Super Tuesday wrap-up, but ABC TV decided to give its whole prime-time to the political story. CBS News doubled its commitment from one to two hours. An ABC News-Washington Post research made last week found that Americans are almost as excited about Super Tuesday (37 percent) as they were about the final of the Super Bowl (40 percent). What is usrprising, college graduates were more excited about the political contest than about an important football game. It showed 53 to 33 percent.According to Nielsen Media Research CNN's prime-time weeknight viewership in January jumped 39 percent from January 2007. Both CNN and MSNBC, which was up 33 percent, have aggressively promoted their political parties. "We are pleasantly surprised by the level of interest," said Jon Klein, president of CNN U. S.. "We knew they would be interested. We did not know they would be obsessed. We are obsessed, too, so that is a good match."BBC America broadcasts five hours of coverage, which is going to be seen worldwide. AfterWednesday night, the BBC's team is joined by Ted Koppel to offer analysis.New options on Super Tuesday include a six-hour online video report including features of journalists from the Washington Post and Newsweek. It is all going to be available through those publications' Web sites.

Up In Arms
by Kamila Moravcikova

Hillary slowly wipes the tears that are falling down from her eyes. She is yearn. She is a woman and is not afraid to express her feelings. Next question. Hillary smiles. She is in a good mood and apparently has a sense of humor. Next question. Hillary looks towards the poor journalist, flashes coming out from her eyes. She knows how to deal with bad guys. Next question. Her stare is solid. She exactly knows what to do. She is a lawyer, she is smart and strong enough. Barack greets the audience with the wave of his hand and a huge smile. He is the the change. He is a new blood. Question. He is proud to be Afro-American. Question. Sure he can defend the interests of all Americans, it doesn't really depend on the color of your skin. Well, it seems that Democrats know what to do. And so do the Reps. And I wonder. Have they all taken some acting lessons? Are they still human beings because as have to be friendly, smart, strict, charming, impressive, uncompromising and able to co-operate at the same time? To be a president candidate is a pretty tough job. They have to be brave. They have to embarrass some musicians so much that they would love to travel with them around the country. And yeah, they have to have bunch of money they can spend without mourning (or have really strong and rich support). $2.000 was the maximum I had ever had on my bank account, so I'm flaking out whenever I hear about sums they declare they have already spent. The Super Tuesday is coming soon. The pre-step to be a full-time president candidate. I hope they don't forget to smile towards their rivals. Every president needs vice-president.

Super Tuesday
by Tatiana Hadarova

Today, on Super Tuesday will be decided which two presidential candidates will be chosen and will meet at November presidential elections. For the last two weeks the most important numbers for all the contenders were those given by polls. Races in both parties are becoming more and more tight. Yesterday Barack Obama almost caught up with Hillary Clinton in California and Missouri. In Republican party, Arizona senator John McCain still leads over Mitt Romney, but he managed to win in California, the "biggest prize" in primaries. In Democrat's race Obama gained two points over Clinton overnight in California. Pollster John Zogby said that "the momentum is with Obama...If this trend continues it could be a very big night form him." Zogby also said positive words for Mitt Romney:" Romney is widening his lead in California and has a really bid advantage with conservatives...Romney winning California would give some Republicans pause when they look at McCain as potential nominee." McCain still has some more advantage than Romney because he won the last two contests in south Carolina and Florida The both Democrats were deadlocked at 43% in New Jersey. The two rivals continued to build a strong base of support. Clinton mostly supported by women, Hispanics and elderly voters, while Obama has his voters among men, blacks and young voters. All of the presidential candidates are hoping on Super Tuesday to win a big share of the national convention delegates who choose the nominees. Democrats have more than a half of delegates, and about 40% of the Republican delegates.

Presidential fight
by Claudia Sonea

Presidential elections are putting in move the candidates, if democratic Barack Obama announced on Thursday that he managed to raise a record of 32 million dollars in January, as he competed with Hillary Clinton on Tuesday for votes, California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger praised Arizona Senator John McCain thus offering advantages to the Republican front-runner for the next week's crucial contests in some 22 states. The famous movie star, currently the governor of California, presented most favorably McCain's environmental an economical platform and also his leadership. He decided to support McCain after former New York mayor Rudolph Giuliani quitted the race on Wednesday because he did not manage to make an impact. Due to the fact that Schwarzenegger's state has a lot of delegates for the party's national convention in September, the Republican nominee is more likely to contest the November elections and become the new President. However, McCain's campaign was affected by the heated televised debate he had at the Reagan Presidential Library outside Los Angeles, when senator Romney accused the his campaign of waging a dirty tricks campaign by implying that Romney had previously advocated a phased withdrawal of US troops from Iraq. At the other pole, the Democratic race is between Obama, 46, and Clinton, 60, after former senator John Edwards retired on Wednesday. Campaign organizers revealed that the Illinois senator brought in some 32 million dollars in funds from some 650,000 people only in January. Obama's campaign manager David Plouffe confirmed the figures, while a spokesman for the former first lady and New York senator said that what counted was how people voted. The two rivals will meet face to face later on Thursday in a debate in the Hollywood Boulevard hall where the Academy Awards ceremonies have been held since 2001. Clinton at a public appearance in her old hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas on Wednesday, said voters in New Hampshire, Michigan, Nevada and Florida supported her not only with their hearts, but also with their heads. Both Obama and Clinton must keep an eye on their possible Republican opponent in the November election, with McCain now as the favourite. According to the national polls the fight will be tight.

Schwarzenegger will endorse McCain
by Zuzana Moravcova

Senator John McCain joined Arnold Schwarzenegger on Monday to promote the California governor's November ballot initiatives. They are going to appear at a news conference after touring a Los Angeles-based solar energy company and the governor will make his endorsement official, his senior aides confirmed. At the Oakland event, the crowd seemed to be enthusiastic as an audience at a game show, applauding at all the right spots, frequently nodding their head in agreement, and chanting "four more years" as Schwarzenegger arrived.Steve Shcmidt, a senior McCain adviser who managed Schwarzenegger's 2006 campaign, said "Governor Schwarzenegger is an exceptional governor and we are honored that he has decided to endorse Senator McCain, and look forward to the event tomorrow."McCain, a possible candidate for U.S. president in 2008, is running strongly ahead of all three rivals in California. He said he had always favored town hall meetings open to the public, adding that some especially noisy dissenters had occasionally been ejected."The benefit of an open town hall meeting is one that you get to hear a lot of different views, and two it has credibility," he said. After having appeared with the governor earlier in the day at a Burbank hotel, McCain, who has fought for campaign finance reform, said Schwarzenegger's extensive fund raising "played by the rules of the game." He continued: "Do I like the game? No. But for him to tie one hand behind his back, I would not think would be particularly appropriate."Schwarzenegger is not going to make an endorsement in the GOP primary. "It doesn't help me, and it doesn't help the state of California."He is now up for re-election next year He is fighting an uphill battle on his favored measures in the special election that he called for next month.

Edwards steps aside
by Sandra Stoklaskova

Wednesday, New Orleans, Johhny Reid Edwards ends White House bid. He ended his campaign with the belief that "one America" would be finally united under a Democratic president. Simultaneously, he has submitted this goal to two remaining Democratic candidates, Hillary Rodman Clinton and Barack Obama."Two Americas", a phrase Edwards uses very often, represents one for haves and the other for the have-nots. His dream was to unify this two Americas into one Democratic nation. Candidacy of this big personality was also in compliance with his dream, as it was based on ending poverty and inequality in economics.Edwards is experienced in both poverty and wealth, because he lived on both sides. He was born in Seneca, S.C., and his parents worked all their lives in textile mill. He spent most of his youth in the countryside of North Carolina and was the first one of his family to attend college and then university.Edwards's political career began 10 years ago in 1998 as a Southerner for the Senate and went on with his first presidential bid in 2004.Now he ran as a liberal with a strong opposition to the war. He is also voicing reduction in emissions that contribute to global warming and was the first to present universal health care plan. The former North Carolina senator began his candidacy 13 months earlier at the same place, where he also ended it, due to seeming contradictions and personal drama.Elizabeth Edwards, his wife, said laughing: "'So, Dad's going to be home tomorrow and the day after and the day after." As we can see, there are some people, who are happy about his decision to end his presidential bid.

Thailand has a new Prime Minister
by Paula Puskarova

Thailand has a new Prime Minister! And it is a woman! A new-mannered woman called Ms. Samak Sundaravej who is gonna lead new 6-party-government. Well, good luck, brave girl! Even almost the 60 % of the Thai people do "believe that the government won't be able to complete its term because it is a coalition of a small parties," said Noppadon Kanikar, director of the research center. Samak wants a new, changed Thailand, and less violence in the south, but she is the one who is said to force her staff to hold to their noses as a sign that they refer to her! She doesn't seem very conciliatory. In fact, she does have a slightly resemblance to an iron lady. At this point, I think, it has some kind of a reason to compare her to her "forerunner" as the head of the government - Thaksin Shinawatra. Well, at least, Thaksin was clever enough to rake together quite some money to buy his own football club. And it is not just a poor, funny playing team, but quite a catch called Manchester City football club. Good for him! Seems that he could give some lessons to Samak how to make a fortune and still be popular among people. He started his career as a policeman and when he ascended to power 5 years ago, he was well educated - He took the role of a "good father", who can handle any situation that occurs. He was quite famous with his very "gently" and clearly put orders: " Put up or shut up". Anyway, he succeeded to bring Thailand into the WTO on the 11th January 2007. It is just a terrible pity that he did not forget to behave as a policeman and embarked his military policy based on the knowledge: "If a special situation occurs, you still have the army to handle it". Maybe, Thailand is not ready for the full democracy, the country is still struggling to find its place in the international community & both as a culture and as an economy. As for my personal piece of advice to Thaksin, he should have watched his family first! His fall is a wonderful example how not to support all your family's actions because they can bring you down and what's more, rout you to an exile. Anyway, considering a new Prime Minister, time is gonna change in the Thai society and we all will witness that.

Chris Cantell Discusses Politics: US elections: Romney versus McCain
by Sandra Stoklaskova

American presidential elections are becoming very unpredictable velocity. After White House bid resignation of Democratic candidate Edwards on Wednesday, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney brought an accusation against his competitor John McCain that he is using wicked tactics of Richard Nixon, former president.Romney did not like the fact that McCain was in favor of a timetable for withdrawing troops from Iraq, and said: "I don't think I want to see our party go back to that kind of campaigning."Mc Cain decided to level the timetable charge this week and Romney had no chance to respond before Republican elections in Florida. Romney regarded this situation as "reminiscent of the Nixon era".Romney "is lashing out because he's unable to defend his comments about a timeline, albeit a secret one .... John McCain has simply pointed out a fundamental difference between them at the time when John McCain was advocating a strategy for victory," this was the reaction of McCain's advisor Steve Schmidt.Romney is now working on campaign of $2 million to $3 million. He is preparing ads for five days, which will be broadcasted in most media markets in California, and on cable channels and local networks, too. His aim is to attract people in key states. Similar goal has also McCain, who would like to run high volume of commercials on national channels and key states, too. However, folks of America can now choose from 4 candidates to commit their votes. Democrats Hillary Rodman Clinton and Barack Obama and Republican candidates Mitt Romney in oppose to John McCain are still in game.

The Thailand`s New Prime Minister
by Jana Bohusova

Bangkok & Samak Sundaravej, 72, the leader of the People Power Party, was elected the prime Minister of Thailand on January 28. He won a majority of votes in parliament defeating Abhisit Vejjejava, leader of Democrat Party. The controversial television chef is known as a front for Taksin Shinawatra, the exiled former prime minister. And he said he wanted to bring Mr. Taksin back in a few months. Mr. Taksin is still very popular in country, especially under the Thailand`s poor. During his carrier in politics Mr. Samak has been a cabinet minister five times and a deputy minister three times. He is also known as a rightwinger in several governments that arrested and killed opponents. He has also still some problems with law because of the corruption in the procurement of fire trucks while he was a governor of Bangkok. With voting Mr. Samak Thailand became a democratic country again. People believe in stability. The biggest problem for Mr. Samak is now to move his country from the economic stagnation. He needs to keep his government living the whole vote term without any coup. And there was nobody who could make it anytime before. The military and opposite parties will take care about any of his steps. In one of interviews Mr. Samak said that nothing changed for him. He also wants to keep on in his TV cooking show. Well, just time will show some changes and if people will be satisfied with the policy of the 25th Thailand prime minister.by Jana Bohusova

Chris Cantell Discusses Politics: A though Strife of Super Tuesday
by Milota Sidorova

Basically all the eyes of America point to the breaking point of presidential elections 2008, the very next day, February 5th, called also the Super Tuesday. Tomorrow will bring the second round for more than 20 states, after the South Carolina primary, January 26, 2008. The expectations are high and emotions could cut a man in every racing party.Last Saturday brought very tense push for votes from both of the challenging Democratic and Republican sides. While a nominee on Democratic party is a race between very potential candidates Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama, Republican side holds on for John McCain, Arizona Sen. and the Former Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney. Obama, who also placed first in the January 26, 2008 South Carolina primary suggested on ``Face the Nation'' on CBS, ``We can attract independents and Republicans in a way that Senator Clinton cannot.''He called Clinton as a ``polarizing figure,'' for the Republicans. She pushed the strike back saying, that she was more capable to withstand Republican attacks and attract the groups, who ``know how serious the issues are that we face.''Republican lion, John McCain, the current GOP front-runner, attacked both Democrats during his nation strike last weekend in Alabama proclaiming that both Sen. Clinton and Sen. Obama said they wanted a date of withdrawal. " They want to wave the white flag of surrender," quoted McCain, finishing"I will never surrender to al Qaeda, my friends. We will never surrender to al Qaeda." He is very proud of his record, that according to him is more '' more conservative than Governor Romney's is.'', said for CBS.According the Pew poll, released today, reports McCain's leadership among Republicans with 42 percent, followed by Romney with 22 percent. As for the Democratic voters, Clinton gains 47 percent, while 43 percent for Obama.

Both can be first
by Zuzana Valkova

Today the whole United States are speaking about the elections. They have two very special and strong candidates; both of them could be first in something.Barrack Obama is a Junior Senator of the Illinois state. He is in his office since 2005. He chose democratic political party to be his favorite, so he is running for them. He studied at two very prestigious universities, at Columbia University and at Harvard Law School. He could become the first black American President in the history of the US. His opponent is Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton. It's easy to guess in what she could be first. She could be the first woman in the President office. She had the advantage of being the First Lady of the US, because as you know, her husband Bill Clinton was already the President, so she knows how things in the White House work. She is a republican candidate, and also a junior Senator of New York State. She studied at Wellesley College and then at Yale Law School. So they have something in common. Both of them are from the north of the States and both of them have finished Law schools. And both of them want to be the "First President".Right now they are working on their campaigns; try to get as many votes as they can. But it's still more complicated, because Americans have different election system, citizens don't vote directly. They give their vote for the candidate to the elector, and these electors vote the president. Every state vote separately. Elections happens every fourth November, so the next one is planned for November 4,2008.

Mac Is Back
by Kamila Moravcikova

Romney' s Official Drop Out Gives Chances To McCain
by Milota Sidorova

Great smile tasting a smell of final triumph remained on the Face of John McCain, who won the seal Republican nomination after his victory in Super Tuesday. His pleasure has certainly increased after the official drop out of his party negative Mit Romney declared last week. Romney isn't the forst one leaving the presidential race. Few weeks ago it was Rudy Giuliani, the former New York Mayor, running his candidacy from February 2007. At that time he ws seen as a prominent seal nomination among Republicans. From now on, John McCain steps on his way to the victory in summer official candidacy although few month ago, he couldn' t barely think of being the front Republican runner in presidential elections 2008. Tears of regret and trembling, still courageous voice of Mit Romney declared the official drop out last week. "This is not an easy decision for me. I hate to lose. My family, my friends and our supporters ... many of you right here in this room ... have given a great deal to get me where I have a shot at becoming president," Romney said. But thinking of America, he better leaves the race. The former Massachusetts governor started almost $40 million presidential campaign to the day, February 12, 2007 at Henry Ford Museum in his native Michigan. His promising candidacy brought him the leading position in August Straw Poll, leaving Huckabee, Giuliani even McCain far behind. His aim was to pass through Iowa and New Hampshire primaries to get the final victory in Florida on Super Tuesday. Unfortunately for Romney, Huckabee crossed his plans in Iowa and McCain, attacking on New Hampshire, finally got this one. From this time, McCain just nursed his primacy among the other Republicans. In Super Tuesday primaries he got a support of 707 delegates, comparing 294 for Romney and 195 for Huckabee. Speculation of giving Romeny' s 294 votes to McCain are very probable but not endorsed yet. Just few hours after Romeny' s official set-back the former chairman Ken Mehlman quoted his supply to McCain, urging all members of the GOP to do the same. According to him, the time has come to unite their forces and concentrate on the future.Romney is out of a game, giving to McCain almost sure GOP primacy. Only puppet party runner Huckabee dosen' t give up and continues his campaign to the uncertain future.

by Sandra Stoklaskova

U.S. presidential bid is going on and all candidates are spending huge amounts of money for their campaigns to attract voters. Representatives of both Democratic and Republican parties are still in game trying to work out as much as possible from their campaigning. But this is not a cheap business, as each of these candidates has already spent millions, believing to win White House bid.Democrats Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton Rodham are not departure from the rule, too. They have already expended together 13.6 million dollars. Former first lady raised since Super Tuesday $6.4 million and her rival Obama collected $7.2 million, accurately. This money, for sure, did not come from their own pocket. Obama gathered it as funds from large donors and small Internet contributors. His concurrent Clinton raised the money in a way of online surge of donations from 35,000 new contributors. But these numbers are not all. In 2007 both Democrats raised each $100 million in their narrow fight for the Democratic presidential nomination. However, campaigning continues. Obama is still rejecting debates with Clinton, observing increasing need of spending some time with potential voters. He said: "I have got to spend some time with voters, because Clinton is better known in a lot of these states." Obama is concentrating on helping people in New Orleans to recover from Hurricane Katrina. He wants to improve schools, levees, and also health system. Clinton with lower budget is going to concentrate her campaign on Ohio, Texas a Pennsylvania, as she believes that a lot of older people will vote for the former first lady.

Obama rises his chances to win
by Zuzana Moravcova

Barack Hussein Obama, a young senator of Illinois and a leading candidate for the Democratic nomination in the 2008 U.S. presidential election, speaks of hope and change, saying both require vision and recognize the need for hard work. In his presidential campaign, he mainly focuses on the issues related to war in Iraq. He claimed that the American people need to "finally focus on the priorities that George Bush has neglected," instead of false promises and a faulty strategy."I will end the war in Iraq! I will close Guantanamo. I will restore habeas corpus. I will finish the fight against Al Qaeda. And I will lead the world to combat the common threats of the 21st century: nuclear weapons and terrorism; climate change and poverty; genocide and disease."He said America cannot wage the war in Iraq while ignoring mounting costs to American troops and their families, security and economy. "We're spending billions of dollars a week in Baghdad instead of helping Americans who are struggling here at home," he added.A year ago, Debra Dickerson, author of The End of Blackness, warned against drawing favorable cultural implications from Obama's political rise.He was born to a black Kenyan father and a white American mother, but his early life experiences notably differ from those of African American politicians who launched their careers in the 1960s through participation in the civil rights movement. It is the diversity of his extended family that is responsible for his "everyman" image.According to the TIME poll, McCain appears to have a slightly better chance of beating the Hillary Clinton, the NY senator, than he does the relative newcomer from Illinois.

by Tatiana Hadarova

The race between Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton is becoming more and more tight, as Obama is "riding a tide of momentum" by having won all five Democratic presidential contests over last weekend. Soon there will be battle for Ohio and Texas primaries and Obama is heading strongly into it. Clinton is counting with the fact that this month is going to be better for her competitor, but will try hard to win in those states. They both started to run their ads in Ohio and Texas. In Obama's ad he is discussing the death of his mother from cancer. Clinton plans to start her Spanish language ads. Obama in his speech at the University of Maryland said, that "he is the candidate who can lead the country out of a long period of divisive and ineffective government." After Obama won contests in Louisiana, Washington and Nebraska, Hillary Clinton decide to change her campaign managers, what is a sign of struggle. But according to An Associated Press-Ipsos poll Clinton is leading Obama in the race for Democratic nomination 46 % to 41, what is quite close but still. Obama has got his great support in Virginia Governor Tim Kaine, who supported him throughout the last weekend. Obama's words of appreciation were, that there will be a place for him in his administration. Another speculations are about who will be supported by former presidential contender John Edwards. Both Clinton and Obama are now trying to endorse him to their sides.
