New elected senator for Massachusetts is Scott Brown by Magdalena Rosova

Republican Scott Brown surprisingly won the special elections and has become the first republican senator elected in Massachusetts ever since 1972. New elected senator Brown shook the power balance on Capitol Hill and he also represents a threat to Barack Obama's agenda for health care and other domestic issues that Obama fought for. Obama said the the results of the Massachusetts vote reflected the situation and mood in the country. Obama knows that people are angry and frustrated. Brown won the seat that was hold by the Senator Edward Kennedy for a long time. The previous fall Republicans even won gubernatorial seats in states Virginia and New Jersey. Despite the B! rown's victory democrats still have majority in both the House of Representatives and Senate. But the surprise is that the White House is historically loosing seats in the midterms. Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill of Missouri told reporters that democrats were naturally worried about the elections and that no one could be sure about the results. Browns victory is evidently a sign that people are tired of Obama's politics. The Senate is before the voting about health care reform. But Obama respects the decision of people in Massachusetts and therefore he said the Senate would not vote until Scott Brown is seated. Obama is convinced that Scott Brown was elected by the same forces that got Obama to the presidential office. People are frustrated by the events of the previous few years. White House spokesman Robert Gibbs added that the anger was now naturally pointed at them as they were in the charge. Scott Brown, 50, will finish Kennedy's unexpired term and will fac! e another election in 2012.
