Violence will never rith the wrongs!
by Barbora Misakova

I think I don’t have to remind you the Mumbai attack from November 2008, but anyway. These bombing terrorist attacks stroke Indian’s largest city on 26 November and lasted until 29 November. The plan was well prepared and arranged, as there were 8 most frequented places chosen: Jewish center Nariman House, popular tourist place Leopold Café, Cama Hospital, Oberoi Trident hotel and Taj Mahal hotel, historic railway station Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, the Metro Cinema and St. Xavier’s College. These attacks took its toll – 173 people were killed and at least 308 were wounded. Today, more than one year after these attacks U. S. charges one man fr! om Chicago in this action. Militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba, which was blamed for these bloody actions, should have been under Headley’s management. David Headley, who was born in the United States but childhood spent in Pakistan, traveled to Mumbai several times and took lot of pictures and video materials during his visits. As it seems Headley is not very clever, on the contrary he is incorrigible and he still believes, that violence can right the wrongs. This time his blind belief was fatal for him. In October 2009 he was arrested with another Pakistani-born Chicago man as they were suspected of planning attack the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten for their publication of cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad. Fortunately this attack was never carried out, although it was very close. In Healdey’s luggage were found another video materials from Denmark and address book with plenty contact numbers. Among the contacts was Abdur Rehman Hashim Syed, a man accused of bein! g Headley’s contact with Lashkar and another militant gr! oup. The y should help him with attacks against the newspaper.
