McCain does not want to give up
by kristina leskova
The elections in United States of America are still closer. The day when the people will decide who will be the president for next four years will be on November, 4. There are two candidates – Republican John McCain with his vice president nominee Sarah Palin(who has been strongly criticized) and Democrat Barrack Obama with his vice president nominee Joe Biden. Although the leader is Barrack Obama, his lead has dropped on Sunday by 4%. McCain has still big chances to win and he said Sunday on NBC that he can guarantee a win in these elections. On Saturday the difference between the two candidates was 9%. The voters support Obama by 49% and McCain by 44% as it results from the study made by Reuters. Why does the popularity of Barrack Obama decrease? John Zogby who realized the study thinks that it has something common with the way how McCain speaks about economy. At first when the financial crisis began, Obama led in most of the statewide surveys. But in the last days John McCain improved speaking about economic questions. Obama blamed McCain that he is very similar to George Bush. And many American people do not like George Bush´s style of lead. McCain tried to disavow from Bush policy. He said that he respects actual president but he does not agree with him in all topics. So the final fight for the White House will be certainly very tight, because both candidates want to win and they will do everything to persuade the voters.
