Intelligence Doesn’t Always Win! Enjoy the Family Show!
by Milota Sidorova
I may not answer the questions that either the moderator or you want to hear, but I'm going to talk straight to the American people." said the right hand of candidate McCain, Sarah Palin.
However, one must ask, could she be the ‘black horse’ pulling more and more endangered Republican back to White House?
Trying to abandon morality and logic I must admit, winning the political debate is not about to prove you’re right either the other one stands behind wrong policy, but like anything else in this world – it’s about emotional theatre.
You have to smile, propose several general facts no one might disagree, feel confident and underline you emphasize with your voters as many times as possible. You ca even have to be folksy, you don’t even have to answer the questions you’ve being asked. Nice scenario.
Do look like a fragile power, put a newborn baby in your hands and pull the strings of million of families watching your shaky debate.
I betcha they won’t remember your misunderstandings even wrong names and skipping the themes.
They will accept your poplulism, your determination and aggression you are smashing down your opponent.
They will remember that.
Be true, what else you could expect from first time governor, ‘Washinghton outsider’ as she claimed herself?
Trying to look different from the rest of White House thieves and liars. Sarah Palin played well her part of the game. In fact, after more comic like interviews, even disagreement with her tandem partner, it’s been one of two best performances she’s ever made.
She’s learning quickly, but still stands little bit outside.
I must admit, uneducated people with folksy speeches do win the games among nervous and disappointed public.
However, the consequences remain catastrophic. And nothing is going to change that.
Was she trying to kick out Joe Biden via Ronald Reagan strike?
Remember the time, when uneducated actor with perfect manners won the battle over the White House.
Biden’s only wrong was he’s been to smart, too critic and not enough emotional.
People don’t ask for politics! People wanna enjoy the show! They wanna feel you’re with them. Even if you’re completely out.
From this and the only point of view Sarah Palin did better than usual.
