Money, money, money...
by Milota Sidorova

All the world worships it. Circles around it. Whether politics, business even relationships do so.
Lack of funds can crash down even the best idea. Or political campaign either.

Whether due the long lasting duel of Democratic candidates, or attempts to lead kind of fair play transparent campaign, one's for sure, Barack Obama is running out of money. We may slightly remeber suspended campaign of Hillary Clinton that swalloved almost $20 M, historically the highest presidential race debt. She was generous, of course, but Obama, worrying to win the first battlegroung was wasting clearly much more. However, we still don't know his final bill, we know how is Mr. McCain doing.
And he is doing well, one must say. Raising his campaign from safe distance, so far from competing any rival, he was able to save more than was necessary. By the end of June, he declared $22 M, raised by direct mail fundraising. Handling with more than $95M he has exceeed current president Bush via direct mail support.

Comparing to Obama's $4 M in hand, McCain seems to take the situation by tough strike.
However, it is not all gold that shines, like we use to say and although McCain prouds himself, to collect almost $210 M till the final election, one must ask, where does he raise his funds from?

Obama is the first Democratic candidate who has denied the possibility of public funds income in the passed 30 years. While he stakes on private donors and taxpayer-financed presidential fund, McCain doesn't hesitate to use money from federal lobbysts, spreading like hub all over the White House. And that is one of Obama's most influential critics.

Naturally, waiting for morality in here, would be similar to expecting Christmas snow in the Death Valley.

So American pay huge amounts on campaigns of their candidates. For revenge they can enjoy an increasing number of tv spots and adverts, overloading their families. Even here, McCain is spending significantly more. This week, his campaigns have been released on non American area of Iraq and other military countries. One must say, so anti-McCain campaings did.
Who could show a merci on a battlefield?
Only the idealist, but so long, those who have moeny, even devil can be servant.

Have a good day!
