Hispanic Key To White House
by Milota Sidorova
However, they are the biggest majority in U.S., they still don't get what they deserve. Well, fair enough to say, that almost 39 million of Hispanic has been forming the principles of American society for the last decades.
Hispanic who outnumbered Black have strong influence on commercial TV programs, broadcasting for instance Dora the Explorer, a bilingual pre-school shows, that ranged No.2 in popularity. Spreading Hispanic community has raised the radio audience to 7-8 percent and buy more than 15 percent of movie tickets. Despite of launched People en Espanol, which is currently the top selling Spanish-language magazine in the USA, significant part in National Sport Leagues they still hold no positions in Senate. However, there are 23 Hispanics in the U.S. House of Representatives — 19 are Democrats, and four are Republicans.
It's more than clear enough that Hispanics are the key to book the White House seat. Both of racing candidates know that. And exactly following Bush steps, as Obama so McCain have overloaded Tuesday's Washinghton meeting with more less powerful promises.
Both, in speech by speech tried to assured about their concerned support for comprehensive immigration reform, better school system, job positions and social and health care. While McCain's visions turned into tax friendly utopia citations, Obama as usually offered more realistic, although emotive campaign. He underlined that current Republican President has locked off his promises inside the White House and did like the ones before him. Simply forgot.
Obama declared, that it can't happen again. He promised tax relief for middle class business, however, he was not the one, who could guarantee a general tax decrease. Well, it seems that the first black candidate has been peeking into Mr. Bush's administration debts. Obama probably knows that America is about to face the highest national debt. And as we know, this is not the best place to feed the crowds with fairy tales.
Still, if taken by races, it would be logic, that Obama gets Hispanic voters by strike. Despite, the polls show his leading position here, more than 26 percent of Hispanic remain undecided. If asked Clinton & Obama duel, Hispanic preferred to vote for Clinton in ratio 2:1.
Historically, Hispanic have backed up favorized Democratic party during election in 1996. 2004 John Kerry captured 58 percent comparing to 40 percent turning to Bush.
