The fight over the place of U.S. President continues. There are probably two candidates: Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Recently, Barack Obama named a team which searches for a running mate for him. Barack Obama is confident to bring the party together. His associates started to choose a proper running mate. Until now they didn't disclose any names. Barack Obama is going to become a first black president in the USA. He did many things for it and he is going to do some other steps. Followers of Hillary Clinton do their best, too. One of followers of Hillary Clinton, Bob Johnson angered Obama's followers by blaming him of taking of drugs when he was a young man. Pre-election battle is harsh and both sides do what they can to win their candidate. Some of senators stayed neutral until now, but most of them decided and have his candidate as Sen. Tom Harkin of Iowa and Sen. Ken Salazar of Colorado. Former Vice President Walter Mondale is now supporting Obama, though before he supported Hillary Clinton. We can see that pre-election battle is changing rapidly and there are many unexpected things. Former Vice President and senators who support Obama sent a message to Hillary Clinton that her race is over, it doesn't matter if she admits it or not. Obama blamed Republican John McCain that he has a “plan for staying, not a plan for victory” in Iraq. Obama centers his attention to the general election campaign. Another supporter of Obama is Kennedy, what was surprised, but he supported him at a critical time and said that he could be an inspirational leader as his father was. Obama and Clinton attended at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. It is interesting to watch how their positions will develop and finally who become the first candidate for president.
