Who is going to be the veep for Obama and McCain? Lenka Filipova
Both, Obama and McCain, have not still stated who they want to have for their running mates, but it is known that they are considering it and are taking meaningful measures to choose the most appropriate one. And just to mention, is not the fact that they are thinking in terms of choosing their running mates a little bit signalizing the final result of the Democratic nomination fight? McCain is about to select from three potential candidates this weekend while the team of Obama is only in the phase of gathering the information of all possible mates. However, there are some sorts of speculations that those of Obama's nominees would probably be the same as for the former president John Kerry. These are the following once, Sen. Clinton, New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, anti-war Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel of Nebraska and former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards. Kerry's running mate Jim Johnson, is not taken into the consideration as he is not willing to start again the same work from the very beginning. MaCain's candidates include the names of people like Charlie Crist - Florida Gov. , Bobby Jindal - Louisiana Gov. and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. As Obama is still in his campaign against tough competitor Hillary Clinton, the Clinton's spokesman Howard Wolfson appraised it was too early for vice president selection process as Obama is not a nominee yet.
