Sour Times Show Weakness of Presidential Candidates
by Milota Sidorova
It all seems really exciting down there on western coast. Although Monday's primaries brought stunning victory for Obama who has added at least 4 superdelegates to his account, Clinton woved to fight on till the end. McCain, whose clearly (and one of very few?) advantages was his asolute nominacy among Republicans strugles now harsh statements by former republican congressman Bob Barr.Actually running for presidency in Libertian Part, Barr, who has played the key role during Bill Clinton's administration declared that there ' was currently or anywhere on the horizon' any candidate who could undestand the need for conservatism and American founding principles. He critized McCain for a lack of vision, agenda, platform and complete program package for people and suggested that this could be the most probable reason of his November loss.On the other hand, emotional chaos apparently rises up over Obama's head, who despite leading delegate score with 1869 to Clinton's 1698 is just a little step to gain the candidacy of Democratic party. Media all over the world carry on a discussion whether 'an elitist' Obama could win over white, working class voters in November final show down. The truth is he really wasn't that connective with middle class and blue collar workers. Moreover, he couldn't win in the big states. But if he couldn't , would she be able to do so?Hillary Clinton, starting her campaign with an image of the most stable, well mannered and experienced nominee has raised a terriific race. Series of victories that brought her a status of the most popular woman in America favoured her in the eyes of the public nor her party.Rise and fall of Hillary Clinton can be linked with her super self confidency, that promped her as the most suitable candidate for the White House. In fact, she already had started her campaign, stepping one feet in the president's house. She poured her energy to the general election nor the party wining nomination. The slower you go, the further you get. And Obama did so. One by one, he has been gaining superdelegates on his side and now really faces the final nomination.Although there has been voices calling for Clinton's withdrawal, she carries on the race. Courageous enough. Well, there's still 6 more contests to challenge.
