The Key to a Better World
by Livia Necasova

Today is the Super - Monday in Pakistan. The parlament election. Over 80 million people are entitled to vote. Important votes that could possibly change something. The situation in the country is very bad. Although I`ve never been there, the things that you hear every second day in the news or reading in the newspapers, Pakistan is not really a place a man would wanted to be. The most part of the country is very poor, the people didn`t get any of the elementary rights supposed to be provided by the state for the last 20 years. But still it`s a country who has something to offer. I think every country in the world has something what other countries don`t. Something that makes is special. The only thing why we talk about Pakistan now its because of the difficult politic situation. Not about the culture, the sights, the food. Which is really sad..The people of Pakistan don`t need a strong president, not to mention a strong prime minister. What they need and what they want is to have the power in their hands. In the hands of the people and the activists. They want to have a right to determine their own future. They want to have a say and make the " better " Pakistan together. It is over with the dictator regime of Pervez Musharraf. You have a chance now people to become a democratic state so don`t throw it away. You are just a step closer to open the right door. Politics should be about the people and not about fat bank accounts in the Switzerland.
