Tight race between Clinton and Obama
by Tatiana Hadarova
The race between Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton is becoming more and more tight, as Obama is "riding a tide of momentum" by having won all five Democratic presidential contests over last weekend. Soon there will be battle for Ohio and Texas primaries and Obama is heading strongly into it. Clinton is counting with the fact that this month is going to be better for her competitor, but will try hard to win in those states. They both started to run their ads in Ohio and Texas. In Obama's ad he is discussing the death of his mother from cancer. Clinton plans to start her Spanish language ads. Obama in his speech at the University of Maryland said, that "he is the candidate who can lead the country out of a long period of divisive and ineffective government." After Obama won contests in Louisiana, Washington and Nebraska, Hillary Clinton decide to change her campaign managers, what is a sign of struggle. But according to An Associated Press-Ipsos poll Clinton is leading Obama in the race for Democratic nomination 46 % to 41, what is quite close but still. Obama has got his great support in Virginia Governor Tim Kaine, who supported him throughout the last weekend. Obama's words of appreciation were, that there will be a place for him in his administration. Another speculations are about who will be supported by former presidential contender John Edwards. Both Clinton and Obama are now trying to endorse him to their sides.
