Results from Super Tuesday
by Sandra Stoklaskova

Last primaries and caucuses on Super Tuesday did not decide about anything, American folks still don't know who will represent particular parties and campaigning is continuing. Representatives of both Democratic and Republican party still have trust, that they can be the winners of next delegates and could convey leading fight in White House bid. Each candidate had believed that he is the one, who is most suitable to be a president of United States and that he is the one, who should gain this competence. But winner takes it all and winner can be only one of them. In Republican presidential race on Wednesday became a leader Sen. John McCain, when he gains 703 delegates on Super Tuesday, what represents approximately 60 percent of 1,191 necessary to achieve nomination victory at next national convention. McCain's rivals had not such luck as him. Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee had 190 delegates, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney gain 293 and ultimately is Texas Rep. Ron Paul with his 14 delegates. McCain constantly believed that the nomination was his and now he would like to unify the party. "I do hope that at some point we would just calm down a little bit and see if there's areas we can agree on," said he, with aim to synchronize Relublicans. In the Democratic site former first lady Hillary Clinton and Sen. of Illinois Barack Obama are competing. In this narrow fight ended on Super Tuesday Clinton with 1,024 delegates that is only a half of needed 2,025 to secure Democratic nomination. Obama gained 933. U.S. elections continue.
