Barack Hussein Obama, junior Senator of Illinois, is a leading candidate for winning 2008 White House bid. As a Democrat he headed into Super Tuesday in a narrow race with Hillary Clinton. If he wins this fight, he will become a presidential nominee of Democratic Party, and then maybe also a first black president of U.S.After graduating in Columbia University and Harvard Law School, he has begun to build his career. He had performed as a university lecturer, community organizer and civil rights lawyer, before running for public office and serving in the Illinois Senate.When doing these jobs, he was still dreaming of bigger things. Now, the basis and major priorities for his career and campaign is the end of War in Iraq, increasing energy independence and providing universal health care.Obama was born to Kenyan father and American mother in Hawaii, where he also spent the considerable part of his childhood.
