Sarkozy loses his temper
by Ana Maria Ciobanu
The French President Nicolas Sarkozy well known for his habit of losing his temper did it again. Sunday afternoon, Sarkozy and his companions were heading for open water in a boat on Lake Winnipesauke. The President spotted Associated Press photographer Jim Cole and freelancer Vince DeWitt aboard the first's boat. Before observing the photographers, Sarkozy was very happy and was smiling and waving at the security people. His nice expression and manners vanished in a second when he saw the two and he began moving in their direction. Wearing only swim trucks he jumped in the Jim Cole's boat and began shouting at them in French. They didn't understand a word and asked someone to translate them, but this happened only after the altercation was over. After the two assured the President they're done photographing for the day, Sarkozy returned to his party in his boat followed by another boat carrying U.S. Secret Service agents. Everyone has the right to privacy and we should all respect that. On the other hand monsieur Sarkozy is well aware this is almost impossible for a person in his position and he should defend his right in a rather diplomatic way, not by shouting and jumping in photographers boats. The French Government had nothing to comment on this subject. What could they have commented?
